There is nothing to say about the Shinkansen itself since it is a fast train, and platforms like WAUG do not have proper guides for first-time travelers. It was very inconvenient because there was no detailed explanation of where to get a ticket at each station, just that there was a machine like this so go to it. When I asked if it was possible to board from Osaka, I was told that it was possible, so if I did that, I would have lost my ticket. Well... you can't ride it in Osaka. If you want to go from Osaka to Shin-Osaka and use the QR on your voucher to get a boarding pass, you have to go outside the subway ticket gate and get a boarding pass. If you go to the Shinkansen ticket vending machine with the intention of transferring, you will never be able to get a ticket. You have to go completely outside to get a ticket, and then you can go back through the ticket gate with the ticket you took out, and then go back through the Shinkansen ticket gate. I don't know about other stations. It's my first time in Japan, so if you're a first-time visitor like me, I hope you don't panic and have a safe and pleasant trip!

I had a strange schedule where I had to make a day trip to Fukuoka during my trip to Osaka, but thanks to Wag, I was able to do it well👍👍 The tickets were the cheapest, and they answered my questions right away, so it was convenient! For your information, it seems that reserved seats can only be reserved on the day of boarding through the machine. If you ask a nearby staff member about reserved seats, they will be happy to make the reservation for you😄 (With the help of a staff member, I was able to get my ticket and reserved seat in advance the day before boarding!) If you have difficulty using the machine, I recommend asking the staff member.

It was really hard to find a place to exchange tickets. ㅜㅜ I asked the station staff, but it took me a while to find the Hakata Station. It would have been nice if they had given me detailed directions to where to exchange tickets. The blog said it was available on the first floor, but we went to two places and still couldn't exchange tickets. So, I looked at the Shinkansen picture and went up the stairs to the second floor. There was a small ticket exchange machine, so I exchanged tickets there. The trip to Osaka was rough, but it was relatively comfortable. It was fast and nice. It was a little inconvenient to have to carry my suitcase on the seat, but I think it's worth taking it at least once.

If the physical ticket has been exchanged but remains unused, a refund is possible at the JR Midori no Madoguchi with a 10% service fee deducted from the purchase price.
