BESTI've been to Fukuoka a few times, but this time I wanted to go somewhere a little different, so I signed up for the Kitakyushu tour. I left early in the morning, ate fresh seafood at Karato Market, and was able to really feel the tradition and history at Kokura Castle. Personally, the place that impressed me the most was Miyajidake Shrine! The approach road that stretches straight into the sea was so beautiful. The guide was friendly and the transportation was convenient, so the day passed by really quickly. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a trip near Fukuoka.
