I heard that you can use JR for one additional time? Yes, you can. If you look closely at the table, the usage range is within Kyoto City. After getting off at Kyoto Station, do not go through the ticket gate right away, go to the next platform (usually No. 33) and take the JR to your destination. If the arrival time is early, it is recommended to go to JR Arashiyama Station or to the nearest accommodation. If the JR station is far, just go through the ticket gate. Have a happy trip.

You can issue a ticket from a JR ticket vending machine.
