[WEST QR] JR WEST Haruka Express One-Way e-Ticket

• Tickets previously sold (Opening Edition) are valid until June 30, 2025, and [General] tickets are valid until March 31, 2026.
• [General] Tickets can be purchased from March 17, 2025. Please note that the validity period and available sections of existing tickets sold previously are different from those of [General] tickets.
• Please check the expiration date displayed after registering the ticket to confirm the exact expiration date.

How to create an account and register a ticket:

▲ After creating an account, please register your Haruka Limited Express ticket.

* You cannot log in to multiple terminals at the same time, so be sure to register your ticket on the terminal you will be using it on.
* If you do not have a smartphone, please register your ticket on the smartphone of a member of your group.
* Once you click 'Register Ticket', you cannot change between ticket accounts.

Instructions for use:

▲ Select the ticket you wish to use from the tickets displayed on the ticket list screen and click ‘Start Use’. Once the ticket is displayed, check the contents and click ‘Use Ticket’ to use it.

* Cancellation is not possible after use.
* Tickets must be activated on the day of use. Do not pass through the gate before activation.
* The validity period begins immediately after ‘start of use’, so please be sure to use it on the same day.
* The QR code is updated every 5 minutes and cannot be used with a captured screen or printed QR code.
* If you accidentally clicked the Use Ticket button and the QR code was activated, please contact us by clicking the chatbot icon at the bottom of the WEST QR app. We will help you invalidate the ticket after checking whether it has been used. However, if the train has already departed, invalidation is not possible.

• The activated QR code is refreshed every 5 minutes.
• This ticket can only be used by those holding a passport issued by a government other than Japan and possessing a short-term stay visa. If it is discovered that the ticket does not meet the eligibility requirements during use, additional fees may be charged for unauthorized use.
• Tickets are valid from February 12, 2025 to June 30, 2025, and are only valid on the day of train travel. (Reserved seat tickets can only be exchanged once)
• [General] tickets sold from March 17, 2025 are valid until March 31, 2026.
• If you have used up all the available reserved seats or are unable to reserve reserved seats in advance, please use free seats.
• This ticket requires pre-registration through the WEST QR official website, and cannot be used if the ticket is not registered.
• Haruka reserved seats can be selected from the WEST QR dedicated site, and reservations can be made from 30 days prior to use up to 3 minutes prior to departure on the day of use.
• If you do not click the Use Ticket button 3 minutes before the departure of the reserved seat train you have reserved in advance, the train will be automatically cancelled. If you wish to use the reserved seat at a later date, please reserve the reserved seat again.
• Haruka reserved seats cannot be reserved at the station ticket machines or counters. The reserved seats for this ticket can be selected from the WEST QR ticket exclusive seats, so they cannot be used even if there are empty seats in other cars. If the WEST QR exclusive seats are full, please use the non-reserved seats or the WEST QR exclusive seats on other trains.
• Reserved seat train reservations can be changed without restriction within the validity period as long as the train you reserved in advance has not yet departed. After the train departs, the reserved seat becomes invalid and you can no longer use the reserved seat. In this case, please use the free seat on the designated date.
• If you do not click the Use Ticket button 3 minutes before the departure of the reserved seat train you have reserved in advance, the train will be automatically cancelled. If you wish to use the reserved seat at a later date, please make a new reserved seat reservation.
• When using a ticket (QR code), scan the QR code on the red QR code reader on the ticket gate and then pass through the gate. For stations without a QR code reader, scan the QR code with the WEST QR mark installed near the ticket gate and pass through the gate.
• You cannot use the Haruka train with a screenshot or QR code printed on paper.
• Please make sure your smartphone is connected to the Internet, as you will need to run the website on your smartphone.
