The easiest way to exchange tickets

Once you've arrived at Kansai Airport, you'll need to exchange the voucher you received from WAUG for your actual Haruka Limited Express ticket. Don't worry, it's not difficult at all, just follow the steps below.

1. Please prepare your passport and mobile voucher.
2. Select your language from the top menu of the ticket machine. (English, Chinese, and Korean are supported.)
3. Select "Receive reserved ticket"
4. Select "Exchange for Japan Pass"
5. Scan the mobile voucher QR code at the exact location .
6. Select your pass start date (up to one month in the future).
7. Click "Agree" to the information regarding pass eligibility and personal information (2 questions total).
8. Please scan your e-passport at the correct location . (If it is not an e-passport, scanning is not possible and you will need to collect it in person.)
9. Confirm your purchase on the confirmation page and receive your rail pass.

How to take the Haruka train from Kansai Airport

Now that you've exchanged your ticket, it's time to actually board. You might be worried about whether you'll be able to board the Haruka Express from the airport in Korea. However, the Haruka Express boarding area is directly connected to the airport, so anyone can find it without difficulty.

Check the movement order:
1. Take the escalator at the airport to the 2nd floor.
2. Check Gate B on the 2nd floor
3. Check the ticket gate for the Haruka Limited Express train to Kyoto.
4. Insert your Haruka Express ticket into the ticket gate and you're done!

Is this a reserved seat?

Haruka Limited Express tickets can be used for both reserved and non-reserved seating. Reserved seating can be reserved at the ticket machine or Midori-no-Madoguchi (Midori-no-Madoguchi ). Non-reserved seating can be reserved on-site, by boarding the "Non-Reserved 5-6" car . This is where non-reserved seating is available, so board here.

First, the chair moves by stepping on the lever at the bottom and turning it. You can sit facing each other, even if you're sitting in front or behind. There's also a separate compartment for luggage, so I recommend placing your belongings in advance before taking your seat.
