From Hurghada: Luxor Karnak Temple & Temple of Hatshepsut Minivan Day Trip - Lunch Included

Ride a minivan from Hurghada
to Luxor

Early in the morning, you are picked up from your Hurghada hotel in an air-conditioned minivan for the approximately 4.5-hour drive to Luxor. There are two stops on the way, and snacks, cold drinks and water are provided during the journey.

Visit the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut

On Luxor's West Bank, first stop for about 30 minutes to take photos at the Colossi of Memnon, the giant twin statues. Next, spend about 50 minutes with your guide at the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to ancient Egypt's female pharaoh. Some of its artwork still retains vivid colors.

Discover the pharaohs' tombs in the Valley of the Kings

In the Valley of the Kings, enjoy about 2 hours of guided explanations and free time. The tomb of Tutankhamun or the tombs of Ramses V and VI are visited if you booked the corresponding option. Afterwards, there is about 30 minutes of shopping time at the Luxor Stone gallery.

After lunch, cross the Nile and explore Karnak Temple

Enjoy a lunch buffet at a restaurant in Luxor for about 1 hour, then cross the Nile by boat in about 15 minutes. Finally, spend about 2 hours at Karnak Temple exploring the avenue of sphinxes, massive columns and hieroglyphs before returning to your Hurghada hotel by minivan.
