From Hurghada: Luxor East & West Bank Valley of the Kings & Colossi of Memnon Day Trip

Depart from Hurghada
for Luxor, the city of the pharaohs

After pickup from your accommodation in Hurghada, travel to Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle. As this is a group tour, the vehicle stops on the way to pick up other travelers, and there is a restroom break of about 15 minutes. A bottle of water and local snacks are provided during the drive.

Explore the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut on the West Bank

In Luxor, visit the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of the Nile with your Egyptologist guide and explore the tombs of the Ramesside kings. You can visit three of the Ramesside tombs KV11 (Tomb III), KV2 (Tomb IV), KV1 (Tomb VII) and KV6 (Tomb IX). If you book the option including the Tomb of Tutankhamun, you can also enter his tomb.

Next, admire the ancient monument of the Temple of Hatshepsut and see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Amenhotep III.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and cross the Nile by ferry

Take a break with lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor. After lunch, take a 5-minute ferry across the Nile from the West Bank to the East Bank.

Discover Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank

On the East Bank, visit the vast temple complex of Karnak. Then stop outside Luxor Temple for photos before returning to your accommodation in Hurghada by vehicle.
