From Hurghada: Luxor Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings & Colossi of Memnon Minivan Day Trip

Depart from your Hurghada hotel
and head to Luxor

Early in the morning, get picked up at your hotel in Hurghada and travel about 5 hours to Luxor in an air-conditioned minivan. Local snacks are provided on the way, and there is a stop of about 15 minutes for restrooms. With the group tour option, the vehicle stops on the way to pick up other guests.

Visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple

On arrival in Luxor, meet your Egyptologist guide and spend about 1 hour at Karnak Temple, famous for its giant columns and rich ancient history. Then stop for about 15 minutes to take photos outside Luxor Temple, followed by about 1 hour for lunch at a local restaurant.

Explore the Colossi of Memnon
and the Temple of Hatshepsut on the West Bank

After lunch, cross to Luxor's West Bank and stop at the Colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes. Next, spend about 1 hour with your guide at the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut.

Explore the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings

Spend about 1.5 hours in the Valley of the Kings, where many kings of ancient Egypt were buried, and visit a tomb of Ramesses. If you choose an option that includes the Tomb of Tutankhamun, you can visit it as well. At the end of the tour, travel about 5 hours back to Hurghada by minivan.
