In the afternoon, depending on the day of the week, continue to Uji and Fushimi Inari or to Arashiyama and Nishiki Market. End the day on the wooden stage of Kiyomizu-dera overlooking Kyoto. English, Korean, and Chinese-speaking guides accompany the tour, and transportation plus highway and parking fees are included.

Depart Osaka and explore
Nara Park and Todaiji
Depart at 8:00 AM from in front of Tsurutontan Soemoncho near Shinsaibashi, Osaka, and travel to Nara in an air-conditioned vehicle. Meet the deer roaming freely in Nara Park and spend about 1 hour 30 minutes visiting the Great Buddha of Todaiji and Kasuga Taisha with its many lanterns. The Arashiyama route also stops at Mount Wakakusa.
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Uji and Fushimi Inari

Spend about 1 hour 30 minutes at Byodoin, the temple pictured on the 10-yen coin, and Uji Omotesando, the historic home of matcha, where you can taste matcha treats. Then walk through the endless vermilion torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine for about 50 minutes.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: Arashiyama and Nishiki Market

Walk through the bamboo grove of Arashiyama and explore the Togetsukyo Bridge area for about 1 hour 20 minutes. Then enjoy traditional Japanese snacks and street food for about 1 hour at Nishiki Market, known as Kyoto's kitchen.
Finish with Kyoto views at Kiyomizu-dera

Finally, visit Kiyomizu-dera and look out over Kyoto from its wooden stage. The tour ends back at Tsurutontan Soemoncho at around 6:00 PM.
