This vehicle tour covers top sights in Nara, Uji and Kyoto in a single day. Meet the deer up close in Nara Park and see the giant bronze Buddha at Todaiji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Depart from Osaka or Kyoto
and visit Nara, Uji and Fushimi Inari in one day

Travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Nara, Uji and Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto. Departures are at 8:00 AM from Kintetsu Nippombashi Station in Osaka and at 9:00 AM from the Hachijo East Exit of Kyoto Station, with a hotel pickup option in central Osaka. The tour lasts about 8 to 10 hours.

Meet the deer in Nara Park and explore Todaiji

At the first stop, Nara Park, enjoy about 45 minutes of free time to stroll and meet the deer up close. You can feed them and take photos together. Next, spend about 30 minutes at Todaiji, a World Heritage Site, where you can see the giant bronze Great Buddha (Vairocana). Todaiji admission is not included and must be paid on site.

Walk the riverside and Byodoin streets in Uji, home of matcha

You will spend about 2 hours in Uji. Stroll along the Uji River and, if you wish, visit Byodoin (admission not included), the Murasaki Shikibu statue and Uji Park. The Omotesando street in front of Byodoin is lined with shops selling matcha sweets and other local treats.

Walk the red torii paths of Fushimi Inari Shrine

Finally, spend about 70 minutes at Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto. Walk the seemingly endless paths of red torii gates, take photos and explore at your own pace. After the tour, you will be dropped off at the location for your chosen option.
