It was a good tour. However, although it may vary depending on the number of participants, there was a slight odor inside the tour vehicle—perhaps regarding hygiene. Since the tour I had booked was unilaterally and suddenly canceled the afternoon before, forcing me to make a last-minute change, I was a bit upset; however, considering that, the course was very good. I would be willing to use this tour again if I could handle it calmly.

I signed up for this because I was tired of the typical Kyoto itineraries, and Katsuoji Temple is seriously amazing! There are tiny Daruma dolls hidden everywhere, and they are so cute that I think I took 50,000 photos just haha. At Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple, the stone statues all have different expressions, so it's really fun to look around, and the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic! If this is your second time in Kyoto, I definitely recommend this tour!

I booked this because I was worried about transportation to the outskirts of Kyoto on my own, and I had a comfortable trip on a private bus! Since Katsuo-ji is located in the mountains, the air felt distinct, and the simple yet tranquil atmosphere of Otagi Nenbutsu-ji put my mind at ease. The guide entertained me with historical stories during the journey, so there wasn't a single dull moment, and the ample free time in Arashiyama was perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee. I highly recommend this if you are bringing your parents!

Our bus tour from Osaka began at Katsuoji Temple, known as the "Temple of Good Fortune"! The temple grounds were filled with Daruma dolls, which was truly impressive. The experience of placing a Daruma doll while making a wish was a unique and special moment. It's also perfect for social media photos!

 Next, we visited Otaki Nenbutsu-ji Temple, which houses 1200 Rakan statues. The expressive stone statues were incredibly soothing and calming. With fewer tourists, it's a hidden gem where you can experience the quiet side of Kyoto.

 Finally, we went to the classic Arashiyama. Strolling along the bamboo forest and enjoying matcha ice cream while gazing at the Togetsukyo Bridge was exceptional! It was much easier to visit all the places efficiently than going on my own.

This was my second Kyoto tour, and I wanted to go somewhere different, so I booked this tour, and it was a huge success! Katsuoji Temple has a truly special atmosphere! I'd been to Irashiyama once before and thought it wouldn't be that great, but it was still great the second time around. The guide here was Japanese, and he was incredibly kind and helpful. 👍
