From Hurghada: Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx, Valley Temple & Museum Day Trip - Lunch Included

Leave Hurghada before dawn
and travel to Cairo

Get picked up from your accommodation in Hurghada at around 2 AM and travel to Cairo by air-conditioned vehicle for about 6 hours. If you order a breakfast box from your hotel, you can collect it before pickup. On arrival in Cairo, meet your Egyptologist guide and start the tour.

Explore the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple

First head to the Giza Plateau and spend about 2 hours at the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and its two neighboring pyramids. Then visit the Great Sphinx (about 30 minutes) and the Valley Temple of Khafre (about 15 minutes) with your guide.

Have lunch and visit the Egyptian Museum

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Giza for about 1 hour. Drinks with lunch are not included. After lunch, spend about 2 hours with your guide at the Egyptian Museum or the Grand Egyptian Museum, depending on the option you booked.

The neoclassical Egyptian Museum houses around 120,000 artifacts and works of Egyptian art.

Return to your hotel in Hurghada

After the tour, travel about 6 hours by vehicle back to your accommodation in Hurghada. Due to the long transfers, the whole trip takes about 18 hours.
