After an early-morning pickup from your hotel in Hurghada, transfer to the airport and board a domestic flight to Cairo. The flight takes about 1 hour. On arrival in Cairo, meet your local guide and travel by air-conditioned vehicle. Flight times are set by the airline and may change, and pickup and return times are adjusted accordingly.

See the pyramids and the Great Sphinx on the Giza Plateau

Explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx on the Giza Plateau. Your guide explains the history of the site, and you will have time for photos. Entry to the Giza Plateau is included; entry inside a pyramid is only included if you book that option (subject to same-day availability).

Visit the museum of your choice

After Giza, head to either the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square or the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), depending on the option you booked, for a guided visit of about 2 hours. Only one museum is included, so please choose carefully.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo

Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Cairo; the exact time depends on the day's schedule. If time allows, there may be optional stops at shops such as a papyrus workshop. Shopping is optional and there is no obligation to buy. At the end of the day, fly back from Cairo to Hurghada and be dropped off at your hotel.
