After an early morning pickup from your hotel in Hurghada, travel across the Egyptian desert to Cairo in a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Pickup time is confirmed the day before the tour.

Explore the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx

At the Giza pyramid complex, see the 4,500-year-old ancient structures up close and take panoramic photos of the plateau with the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Then come face to face with the Great Sphinx as your guide explains its history. Afterwards, have lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo.

Visit a museum depending on your option

With the Royal Mummies Hall option, see the real mummies of pharaohs such as Ramses II, Seti I, Hatshepsut and Thutmose III at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. With the Grand Egyptian Museum option, see Tutankhamun's golden mask and treasure collection at a museum with more than 100,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts. The Giza Pyramids & Great Sphinx option does not include a museum visit.

Stop at a workshop and return to Hurghada

Stop briefly at a local workshop to see traditional Egyptian handicrafts. Shopping is optional. Depending on time and your guide, you can also take a Nile cruise at an extra cost.

All buses from Cairo to Hurghada must wait for the convoy, so while waiting you will visit one or both of a papyrus museum and an essential oil factory with your guide to learn about ancient Egyptian production techniques. Then return to Hurghada and get dropped off at your hotel.
