We met in Old Town around 7:05 AM, stopped by Nammin Haemin, and then headed to the Lantong Elephant Sanctuary. The trip took about an hour and a half, but we arrived quickly because we enjoyed the scenery outside the window! As soon as we arrived, we changed into the clothes provided by the sanctuary and put on our boots. ㅎㅎ We had a warm cup of coffee and had an orientation. Then, the real experience began! Preparing and preparing food for the elephants was more fun than I thought. ㅎㅎ We got to touch the elephants up close, feed them, and even feel their breath. 😂 Finally, we had an elephant bathing experience. It was a truly special experience to get in the water with them, push their backs, and spray them with water! I think it was around 12:40 PM when we finished the tour and returned to Old Town. Since it was a half-day tour in the morning, the schedule was efficient and we were able to enjoy it without any pressure. ㅎㅎ I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to make special memories with elephants! 🐘
