I've never seen elephants in my life, so I came to an elephant cafe with a friend while traveling to Chiang Mai! I saw on Instagram that the cafe had been open for 25 years, so I went there. It was clean and really nice! The elephants stayed right next to us to make sure we were safe. I was scared, but they told me it was okay because the elephants were kind, so we became friends right away. My hands got wet while playing in the elephant mud and washing the elephants, so I couldn't take pictures, but they took lots of pictures with our phones, which was nice! I'm leaving with happy memories! :) I hope the elephants that were with us today are happy and healthy! 🐘

It was a 20-minute drive from my accommodation, so I decided to give it a try!! First of all, the place is beautifully decorated, and they take great photos with the elephants. The staff are always right by, so it doesn't feel dangerous, and you can tell they really care for the elephants. I had a relaxing travel schedule, but I feel so refreshed here.

We took a Grab from Chiang Mai Old Town, and it took about 20 minutes. As soon as we got off, a staff member at the counter gave us name tags and guided us; we had a separate guide assigned to us. They asked us to choose whether we wanted free drinks or free elephant food, and we chose the free elephant food. We saw about 2 or 3 baby elephants and 2 or 3 adult elephants. They served us a meal after the experience was over, and the quality was just as good as the food in the Old Town restaurant district! The guide was also very friendly. The elephants are really cute...

I guess you could say it felt like I was in Africa, haha. The elephants were playing very freely, and seeing them up close and feeding them was such a fun memory.

My child had so much fun, so I was happy too! As soon as we entered, an elephant greeted us, and it was so cute and fun.
