Pai Tham Lod Cave & Kiew Lom Viewpoint Afternoon Tour - Sunset Viewing

Depart Pai in the afternoon to visit
a cave, a viewpoint and a sunset spot

Check in at the AYA Service Pai office in Pai town for this approx. 7-hour tour departing at 12:00 PM. Travel by vehicle to Tham Lod Cave with its stalactites, Kiew Lom Viewpoint, and the sunset spot of Two Huts or Pai Canyon. Each guest receives a bottle of water at check-in, and after the tour you return to the starting point in Pai with help for your hotel drop-off.

Explore Tham Lod Cave

After about a 75-minute drive from Pai, arrive at Tham Lod (Nam Lod) Cave. A local guide leads you through the cave with flashlights and lanterns so you can see the stalactites and stalagmites up close. You spend about 1 hour 15 minutes at the cave.

The cave entrance fee (approx. 200–250 THB per person) is paid on site. During the rainy season (August–October), the water level is high, so bamboo rafting is not available and the cave is explored on foot for about 1 hour.

Look out over the mountains of Pai
from Kiew Lom Viewpoint

Drive about 40 minutes from the cave to Kiew Lom Viewpoint with its 360-degree panoramic view. Spend about 20 minutes taking photos, enjoying the green mountain scenery or visiting the café.

Enjoy the sunset
at Two Huts or Pai Canyon

Finally, head to Two Huts or Pai Canyon to watch the sunset for about 1 hour 30 minutes. Pai Canyon offers 360-degree views over a natural canyon, while Two Huts is a sunset spot with huts offering a café and music (open 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, alcohol allowed). Drinks can be purchased on site.

After the tour, return to the starting point in Pai (about 15 minutes), and the guide will help with your hotel drop-off.
