At your selected pickup time, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Travel about 1 hour south in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin the day at Dahshur. Learn with your guide how the pyramids developed and how the pharaohs lived.

Explore the Red Pyramid and
the Bent Pyramid at Dahshur

About 40 km from Cairo, Dahshur is a famous royal necropolis home to several pyramids, including King Sneferu's Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid. Visit both pyramids while listening to your guide's explanations.

See King Djoser's
Step Pyramid at Saqqara

Next, head to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid built for King Djoser in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC). It is regarded as one of the oldest large-scale stone buildings. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

End the day at the Giza Pyramids
and the Great Sphinx

After lunch, travel to Giza to see the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Also visit the Great Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the face of a pharaoh, and the Valley Temple belonging to the Pyramid of Khafre. A Cairo shopping tour is also included, and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Cairo or Giza at the end of the tour.
