A Special Festival Beginning with Lanna Culture

Check in at your designated meeting point in Chiang Mai and travel to the festival grounds by prepared vehicle. On-site, you can explore the Lanna cultural spaces and various experience programs, and enjoy the festive atmosphere while watching traditional music, dance, and cultural performances.

In the evening, depending on your chosen option, enjoy a prepared Thai meal and drinks. You can also experience the traditional Krathong ceremony, which follows Yi Peng, allowing you to get closer to the festival culture that has been passed down for a long time in Northern Thailand.

Release lanterns into the night sky with your wishes

As night falls, the festival's highlight, Khom Loy lantern release, begins. Follow the instructions, light your lantern, make a wish, and release it into the night sky with other participants. You can directly experience the spectacular sight of countless lanterns illuminating the sky simultaneously, unique to the Yi Peng Festival.
