Into the Mino Mountains on an E-MTB

Meet your local guide at Shin-Osaka Station and travel to Mino by public transport. Upon arrival, get your E-MTB, helmet, and gloves ready, receive a brief safety orientation, and then start your ride.
High-end electric mountain bikes such as Specialized Levo SL and Trek Rail are provided for the ride. With the help of the electric motor, you can easily tackle uphill climbs while still enjoying the dynamic riding experience unique to mountain bikes.
Ride out from the city outskirts into the mountains to visit Katsuo-ji Temple, famous for its numerous red Daruma dolls. Explore the temple grounds and learn about the history, faith, and ancient pilgrimage culture of the Mino region.

Natural Mountain Trails Once Traversed by Pilgrims

After exploring Katsuo-ji Temple, leave the typical tourist routes behind and begin your full forest trail ride. Experience the serene mountain scenery, hard to find in downtown Osaka, as you ride along paths connected to ancient pilgrimage culture.
This is a natural mountain trail, not a well-maintained bike park. You'll encounter roots, rocks, curves, and steep sections, with trail conditions varying depending on the weather and season.
The course is not fixed either. Your guide will select appropriate routes and speeds based on your mountain biking experience, confidence, and the day's trail conditions. If conditions are good and you're an experienced rider, you can enjoy more technical sections.
※ While professional-level mountain biking skills are not required, you should be comfortable with basic cycling and able to ride on unpaved and uneven terrain.

Enjoy Mino's Local Cuisine Between Rides

Enjoy Mino's local food at your leisure alongside your ride. Instead of visiting a set restaurant, your guide will recommend suitable places based on your preferences, the day's route, and opening hours.
You can choose from burger joints, Japanese set meals at cafes renovated from old Japanese houses, or local udon and katsudon restaurants. Depending on the situation, you might even get to try locally brewed Mino beer.
The ride concludes at Mino-Kayano Station, making it convenient to travel back to Osaka city center for your next plans. Participants will also receive a souvenir water bottle from a Japanese cycling brand.
