This is a night tour to see a completely different side of Ishigaki Island from the daytime. Turn on your light and walk along the forest path with a guide to find nocturnal creatures and subtropical vegetation. Depending on the day's conditions, you can see insects, crabs, and small creatures up close, and if you're lucky, you may even see nocturnal birds. If the weather is good, enjoy the starlight. Ishigaki is certified as a star protection area, so the night sky appears truly vast in places with little artificial light. Stargazing is the focus of this tour, so star photography is not included.

From Gathering to Rainy Day Progress, A Night Course to Participate in Without Burden

Join the guide at Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal at 19:30. Punctuality is key. Afterwards, move to the site at 19:45, and even during the move, the guide will provide observation tips and safety points, setting the atmosphere from inside the car. This tour basically proceeds even in rainy weather. However, it may be stopped if on-site safety cannot be secured. Also, there may be no restrooms near the site, so it is recommended to go in advance before gathering. The most comfortable attire is long sleeves & long pants, sneakers, and it's good to bring water, a towel, and socks.
