Meet Manta at Kabira Bay Manta Scramble

The highlight of the tour is Manta Scramble (Kabira Bay). This sea area is known as a manta point where manta rays, the world's largest rays, frequently appear, and has a good environment for manta rays to live in throughout the year due to the warm currents rich in plankton and the cleaning station where manta rays groom their bodies. Manta rays are huge, with a wingspan of 4 to 5 m, but their personality is gentle, so they are guided to be relatively safe even when swimming together. If you are lucky, you can also expect to see a manta train scene where several manta rays swim in a spiral at once.

Instead of ending with just seeing manta rays, spend time at Ishigaki coral reef snorkeling spots. The sea around Ishigaki is home to a colony of over 70 species of coral, where you can observe colorful corals and tropical fish such as brain coral, table coral, and branch coral up close. Observation is possible even in shallow water, making it popular with children and beginner snorkelers.

Tour course at a glance

Safety rules and basic education are included so that even first-timers can participate. Guides are closely cared for by English-speaking guiding guides and underwater guides, and snorkeling is operated more densely in units of 2 to 6 people, and trial diving is operated in units of 1 to 2 people. The number of guides is adjusted according to the age and swimming ability of the team members to enhance safety.

Full day option
It is held from 08:30 to 16:00 (approximately 7 hours 30 minutes). You can aim for manta rays more generously because it consists of a morning manta & coral reef spot and an afternoon spot after lunch.
Hotel pick-up/drop-off is carried out by a 10-seater minivan joint pick-up method.

Half day option
You can choose from 08:30 to 12:00 or 12:30 to 16:00 (approximately 3 hours 30 minutes). It is good to lightly enjoy manta + coral reef spots with only the essentials.
Instead, lunch, pick-up/drop-off, and free shower room use are not included, so you will finish the schedule individually.
