Operated by a company with 10 years of experience specializing in manta encounters, you'll explore beautiful spots and move with a team experienced in finding mantas, making it ideal for those serious about spotting them. 
The boat ride itself is a pleasant part of the experience. We use a 24-person eco-boat that minimizes engine odor, making even a full day at sea comfortable.
After the tour, upon returning to the port, you'll receive your GoPro footage. The time at sea flies by, and having recorded memories significantly enhances your travel satisfaction.

Encounter Mantas at Kabira Bay's Manta Scramble

The highlight of the tour is Manta Scramble (Kabira Bay). This area is known as a prime manta point where the world's largest rays, manta rays, are frequently sighted. The combination of warm currents rich in plankton and cleaning stations where mantas groom themselves creates an ideal habitat for them year-round. Mantas can reach impressive sizes with wingspans of 4-5 meters, but they are gentle creatures, making swimming alongside them relatively safe.
If you're lucky, you might even witness a 'manta train' where multiple mantas swim in a spiral formation.
※ The average manta encounter rate is around 70%, which is very high. However, as they are wild animals, a 100% guarantee is not possible.

Enjoy Snorkeling at Coral Reef Spots Too

The tour isn't just about mantas; you'll also spend time snorkeling at Ishigaki's coral reef spots. The waters around Ishigaki are home to over 70 species of coral, forming vibrant underwater gardens. You can observe colorful corals like brain, table, and branching corals, as well as tropical fish up close. The shallow depths make it accessible and popular for children and beginner snorkelers.

Tour Course at a Glance

Safety instructions and basic training are included to ensure first-time participants can join with confidence. Guides, including English-speaking tour leaders and underwater guides, provide close attention. Snorkeling groups are kept small, with 2-6 participants per guide, and the number of guides is adjusted based on the group's age and swimming ability to enhance safety.

Full-Day Option
Runs from 08:30 to 16:00 (approx. 7.5 hours). This option includes morning manta and coral spots, followed by afternoon spots after lunch, allowing more time to search for mantas. 
Hotel pickup/drop-off is provided via a shared 10-seater minivan.

Half-Day Option
Choose between 08:30-12:00 or 12:30-16:00 (approx. 3.5 hours). This is a great option for a lighter experience focusing on the core manta and coral spots. 
However, lunch, hotel pickup/drop-off, and the use of free shower facilities are not included, so you'll need to arrange your own arrangements for the remainder of your day.
