Permanent Collection

The Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art has a collection of numerous works from the late 19th century to modern works, with approximately 13,000 items collected, including paintings, prints, watercolors, sculptures, photographs, videos, and books. Among them, about 200 items are selected and permanently exhibited as the MOMAT Collection, the largest collection in Japan. 

The exhibition, divided into a total of 12 sections, is divided by era, genre, etc., so if you check what kind of exhibition it is before viewing, you will be able to immerse yourself in the work even more.
