1. Take the shuttle bus:
The best way is to take the River Wonders shuttle bus in front of Khatib Station (Red Line) Exit A in downtown Singapore. Many travelers take the shuttle bus to visit River Wonders. 
The shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes from 8:00 AM to 7:20 PM. 
The operating fee is 1 Singapore dollar, and the travel time is about 15 minutes.

2. Take public transportation:
The next method is to take bus number 138 from Ang MO kio station and get off at Choa Chu Kang station, then take bus number 927.

Tram is a must

Singapore Zoo boasts an enormous size that takes about two to three hours to look around roughly. There are also various attractions and things to enjoy. So, it's a good idea to take the tram to look around what you want and then take the tram again to move to see other animals.
