Getting There

The Singapore Zoo is located in the northern part of Singapore, quite a distance from the city center. It's essential to know how to get there. Here’s the most affordable and convenient method:
1. Take the Shuttle Bus:
The best option is to take the River Wonders shuttle bus from the Khatib MRT Station (Red Line), Exit A, in downtown Singapore. This is the most popular way for travelers to reach River Wonders.
Shuttles run every 20 minutes from 8:00 AM to 7:20 PM.
The fare is S$1, and the journey takes about 15 minutes.
2. Use Public Transport:
Alternatively, take bus number 138 from Ang Mo Kio MRT Station, alight at Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, and then take bus number 927.
The Tram is a Must-Have!

The Singapore Zoo is vast, easily requiring three to four hours to explore even superficially, with numerous attractions and activities. Therefore, riding the tram is highly recommended. Hop on to visit specific areas and then re-board to move to another section.
Your WAUG ticket includes unlimited tram rides, so you can start your journey by tram right away.
Tram Tips
There are 4 tram stops, numbered 1 to 4, covering the main zones of the zoo. Trams run every 5-10 minutes, so you won't have to wait long.
The Singapore Zoo tram also offers an audio guide. Dial 6 for a Korean commentary introducing the main animals. Bring your earphones to enjoy detailed explanations about the zoo!
Rent Necessary Equipment at the Entrance!

The Singapore Zoo is often visited by families. If you're traveling with children, you can rent strollers or scooters. Wheelchairs are also available for guests with disabilities. The 'Wagon', which can accommodate two children, is a particularly popular rental item!
How to Rent Equipment:
The rental shop is located immediately to the right of the main entrance.
