Explore the bat cave and the cliff viewpoint

At the bat cave, formed naturally by erosion and shifting rock layers, learn about the cave's structure, its surroundings and the wildlife of this remote area. Then head to the main viewpoint of Jebel Fihrayn. After a short guided hike, a panoramic view of the open desert stretches out before you. Take souvenir photos at the edge of the cliff.

Enjoy a traditional Saudi picnic at sunset

Around sunset, relax in a simple outdoor area with chairs and tables. Arabic coffee and hot tea made over the fire, traditional Najdi snacks such as qursan, dukhun bread and asida (usually two kinds), dates and water are served. Your guide introduces the cultural background of the food and Najdi hospitality, and after watching the sun set behind the cliffs, you return to Riyadh.
