This private group tour picks you up from your accommodation in Riyadh and drives across the Najd desert to the Edge of the World. With a guide who knows the desert geology and culture well, you take a moderate hike to the top of a 300 m cliff, passing a bat cave and rugged trails lined with native plants. From the top, you can take in the Tuwaiq Mountains and the endless desert landscape. After the hike, you relax at a traditional keshta with unlimited Arabic tea, coffee and dates.

Depart from Riyadh
for the Edge of the World
After pickup from your accommodation in Riyadh, you travel for about 100 minutes in an air-conditioned vehicle across the rugged desert landscape of Najd. The tour runs as a private group, so only your party joins the guide.
Hike to the top of the 300 m cliff
Take a moderate hike with your guide to the top of the 300 m cliff. On the way up, you pass a bat cave and walk rugged trails with native plants and ancient fossils. At the Edge of the World, you spend about 1 hour taking photos and enjoying the views.
From the top, you can see the Tuwaiq Mountains and the desert horizon where distant dunes rise like islands. You then stop at a secret spot for a walk of about 15 minutes.
End the day with tea and coffee at a keshta
Around dusk, you gather at Wadi Hurayimla and relax at a traditional keshta. Enjoy unlimited hot karak tea or Arabic coffee (gahwa) with dates while watching the sunset. A barbecue is available as an add-on. After the tour, you return to Riyadh.
※ On weekends, the bat cave route is avoided.
