and spend the afternoon and evening in the desert
Travel about 45 minutes from your accommodation in Riyadh to the desert in an air-conditioned vehicle. In the desert, spend about 5 hours riding camels, enjoying tea time, watching the sunset and having dinner at camp. A live guide speaking English and Arabic accompanies small groups of up to 6 people.
Cross the dunes on a camel
Trek across the desert for about 40 minutes, one person per camel. Feel the calm of the desert landscape up close as you cross the dunes. Along the way, stop for Arabic coffee and tea while taking in the wide-open desert views.
Watch the sun set over the desert
At dusk, relax as you watch the sun set over the desert scenery. It is also a great time for photos.
Enjoy a kabsa dinner by the campfire
