Darb Al Manjour is a cliff landmark on the roughly 800 km-long Tuwaiq Escarpment and is closer to Riyadh than the main Edge of the World. With its short, efficient schedule, it suits short-stay travelers who are pressed for time.
Cross the desert in a 4WD off-road vehicle
Depart from Riyadh's STC Metro Station and travel for about 1 hour in a 4WD off-road vehicle with air conditioning and comfortable seats. Leave the city behind and enjoy an off-road drive across the desert scenery. A professional local guide and driver keeps you safe along the way.
Hike to the cliff edge and watch the sunset
Spend about 1 hour at the top end of the Al Manjour Trail. Take a short hike to the cliff edge with your guide, look out over the desert below, take photos and watch the sunset. Afterward, ride about 1 hour back to STC Metro Station, where you started.
