Visit a local market, waterfall and temple
then meet elephants at a sanctuary
This guided day tour departs by air-conditioned van from your hotel lobby or the meeting point you selected. Visit a local market, the Bua Thong Sticky Waterfall and Wat Ban Den temple, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then spend about 2 hours with elephants at a sanctuary in the afternoon. An English-speaking guide accompanies you all day, and the tour takes about 7.5 to 8.5 hours.
Browse a local market
and climb the Sticky Waterfall

First, stop at a local market (Chedi Mae Khrua Market) to see the variety of food locals enjoy, including insect dishes (about 25 minutes). Then head to the Bua Thong Sticky Waterfall, change clothes and walk down a nature trail to the falls. Climb up and down the rocks with water flowing over them like Spider-Man (about 100 minutes).
Explore the Lanna-style Wat Ban Den

Drive along country roads past rice fields, orchards and villages to Wat Ban Den. Admire the Lanna architecture decorated in white, green, blue and pink, along with views of the surrounding countryside, and take photos (about 40 minutes). Locals come here to worship and pray, so you can explore in a calm atmosphere. After the temple, have lunch at a local restaurant.
Make vitamin balls and feed the elephants

After lunch, head to the elephant sanctuary in a valley and change into a mahout uniform. Make herbal vitamin balls that help the elephants digest their food, then feed them bananas and sugarcane as you meet them up close. Walk alongside the elephants, learn about each one's habits and take photos. At the end of the day, you will return to your original meeting point.
