From Chiang Mai: Chiang Rai White Blue and Red Temples Day Tour - Entry Fees Included

Chiang Rai's three iconic temples in one day

This day tour of about 12 hours picks you up from your Chiang Mai hotel between 7:00 and 7:30 AM and takes you to Chiang Rai's White Temple, Blue Temple and Red Temple. An English-speaking guide accompanies you, and all temple entrance fees, the Red Temple viewpoint elevator, the Lalita Café ticket and a Thai lunch buffet are included. Depending on your option, you can choose whether to enter the Long Neck Karen village and whether to return to Chiang Mai or end in Chiang Rai.

Stop at Mae Kachan Hot Spring and meet the Long Neck Karen

Head north along the countryside roads of northern Thailand and take a break of about 30 minutes at Mae Kachan Hot Spring. Then stop at the Long Neck Karen village to learn about hill tribe traditions. On options excluding the Long Neck village, you wait at the entrance for about 30 minutes.

Visit the White, Blue and Red Temples in turn

Spend about 1 hour at Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) with its unique modern design, then enjoy a Thai lunch buffet at a local restaurant. Next, spend about 40 minutes each at Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple), filled with vivid murals, and Wat Huay Pla Kang (Red Temple), with its giant seated Buddha overlooking the valley.

Relax at Lalita Café

Spend about 30 minutes taking photos and relaxing at Lalita Café, with its flower gardens, decorations and small waterfalls. Then drive about 3 hours back, arriving in Chiang Mai at around 6:30 to 7:30 PM depending on traffic. On options ending in Chiang Rai, the tour ends in Chiang Rai.
