Ban Jabo is a highland village in the mountains of Mae Hong Son Province, known for its viewpoint overlooking limestone peaks and the sea of mist that fills the valley in the early morning. This tour of about 4 hours picks you up from your hotel in Pai before dawn, takes you to Ban Jabo for the sunrise and brings you back to your hotel. You can choose between a join-in tour shared with other travelers and a private tour for your group only.

Drive along winding mountain roads to Ban Jabo

Pickup takes place early in the morning from the hotel in Pai you selected when booking. The exact pickup time will be sent the day before the tour. As the sky slowly brightens, you travel by vehicle along winding mountain roads to Ban Jabo.

Watch the sun rise over the sea of mist

At Ban Jabo, watch the morning light slowly illuminate the surrounding mountains and traditional hill tribe village. You have about 2 hours of free time around the Dekdoi Coffee Jabo viewpoint café to enjoy the panoramic views and the peaceful highland atmosphere.

Enjoy coffee and noodles at the viewpoint

During your free time you can enjoy a cup of local coffee or a bowl of Ban Jabo's well-known noodles. Coffee and noodles are included in the private tour; on the join-in tour you can buy them on site in cash (approx. 100 THB per person). After the sunrise, you return to Pai by vehicle and are dropped off at your hotel.
