From Cairo: Giza Pyramids & Nile Cruise & Abu Simbel 6-Day Tour - Hot Air Balloon Included

Days 1–2: Discover the pyramids
and the ancient capital around Cairo

After pickup from your Cairo hotel, head to the Giza Plateau with your Egyptologist guide to explore the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx. Then visit the Egyptian Museum, home to more than 120,000 artifacts including the treasures of Tutankhamun, and check in to a 5-star hotel after a local lunch.

On day 2, visit the ancient capital of Memphis, the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, and the Bent and Red Pyramids at Dahshur. After lunch, fly from Cairo airport to Luxor and spend the night at a 5-star hotel in Luxor.

Day 3: Visit the East Bank temples and board your cruise

In the morning, visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, connected by the Avenue of Sphinxes. Check in to your 5-star Nile cruise, have lunch, and relax on a felucca ride while enjoying views of the Nile.

Day 4: Sunrise balloon ride and the West Bank

Early in the morning, watch the sunrise from a hot air balloon over Luxor. After landing, explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then return to the cruise for lunch as you continue sailing.

Days 5–6: Edfu and Kom Ombo, then on to Abu Simbel

On day 5, ride a horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Edfu, then sail to Kom Ombo to visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus.

On day 6, check out of the cruise and travel by small-group transport to Abu Simbel to explore the temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. Return to Aswan for your flight to Cairo, where your driver will take you to your preferred drop-off location.
