Highlights

Program
See the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum,
then fly to Luxor
On day 1, after pickup from your hotel in Cairo, tour the Giza Pyramids with an Egyptologist guide. Then visit the Egyptian Museum to see around 150,000 artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun and ancient Egyptian art, followed by a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
In the evening, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. A staff member will meet you at Luxor Airport and take you to your hotel.
Watch the sunrise over Luxor from a hot air balloon
Early on day 2, float above Luxor in a hot air balloon at sunrise. Afterwards, explore the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank, home to the tombs of pharaohs such as Merenptah, then visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
In the afternoon, visit Karnak Temple on the East Bank and board your Nile cruise ship for the night.
Sail the Nile to the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo
After breakfast on board on day 3, ride a horse-drawn carriage with your group to Edfu for a guided tour of the Temple of Horus. Enjoy lunch on board as you sail to Kom Ombo, then visit Kom Ombo Temple with your guide. Return to the boat for dinner and free time.
Visit Abu Simbel and continue on to Alexandria
On day 4, check out early (luggage can be left at reception) and travel with your group to Abu Simbel to see the twin temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari. Then transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo, where a representative will meet you and take you to your hotel.
On the final day, travel to Alexandria in an air-conditioned vehicle to explore Kom El Dikka and the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and enjoy a Mediterranean lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Library of Alexandria and Qaitbay Citadel before returning to Cairo.
