From Cairo: Nile Cruise, Luxor Balloon & Abu Simbel 5-Day Private Tour

Explore the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum,
then head to Luxor

After pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, visit the Giza Plateau to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Then explore the Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of ancient treasures including the golden mask of Tutankhamun.

After lunch at a local restaurant, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. On arrival, a driver will take you to your hotel.

Fly over Luxor in a hot air balloon and tour the West and East Banks

Early on day 2, take a hot air balloon ride over the temples and fields along the Nile. After landing, your private guide and driver will take you to the Valley of the Kings to visit 3 of the open tombs, followed by the Temple of Hatshepsut beneath the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.

Next, cross to the East Bank to admire the great Hypostyle Hall and towering columns of Karnak Temple. At the end of the day, board your 5-star Nile cruise and enjoy meals on board as you begin sailing south.

Cruise the Nile to the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo

After breakfast on day 3, ride a horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Return to the ship and sail to Kom Ombo, where in the afternoon you visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. In the evening, sail on to Aswan.

Visit Abu Simbel and a Nubian village,
then end your trip in Old Cairo

On day 4, check out early and take a breakfast box on a small-group trip to Abu Simbel to see the colossal rock-cut temples built by Ramesses II for himself and Queen Nefertari. Back in Aswan, visit a colorful Nubian village on the Nile for a traditional lunch, then transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo and on to your hotel.

On the final day, after breakfast and check-out, enjoy a guided tour of Old Cairo. Visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali and the Citadel of Saladin, finish at Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, and have lunch at a local restaurant before drop-off.
