BESTThe zoo where the sun goes down is so different and a must-visit place! It may feel a bit far on the map, but the transportation is good so it doesn't overwhelm the itinerary
Zoos typically close their gates at night. But it's a shame because many 'wild animals' are most active after dark. Singapore Night Safari is a unique place where you can witness the world of nocturnal animals.
At the Night Safari, you can encounter around 2,500 animals from over 100 species. And you'll explore not on foot, but by riding a tiger-shaped tram! Plus, various performances await you.

A World of Real Wildlife, Encountered at Night!
There's no other zoo in the world where you can see nocturnal animals like the Singapore Night Safari. It's a special zoo where you can encounter fascinating nocturnal creatures, from owls to predators like tigers, all from the comfort of a tram.
It's a must-visit when you're in Singapore, as this kind of experience is truly one-of-a-kind.
Getting to the Night Safari

The Singapore Night Safari is located a bit outside the city center, so it's essential to know how to get there in advance.
1. Travel by SAEX Bus
You can take the SAEX bus, which has pickup points throughout the city, to reach the Night Safari. Board at the bus stop in front of the DFS Gallery.
2. Use Grab or Uber
Using Grab is also a great option. Grab is very well-established in Singapore, making it convenient to use. Expect to pay around 30-40 SGD.
3. Use MRT + Public Bus
This is the most economical option, but it takes the longest. Alight at Ang Mo Kio MRT station and take bus number 138 from the bus interchange to reach the Night Safari.
Tram Riding Tips

The trams at the Night Safari are open-air. The queue for the tram can be quite long. Here's a tip: get in line for the tram as soon as you enter the Night Safari. It might seem long, but it moves surprisingly fast. Aim for one of the front trams for the longest viewing time at each animal enclosure. The seats on the far left are better than the right, as they offer views of more interesting animals.

Animals of the Night Safari

Here, you can see about 900 animals, with the most popular being the Malayan Tiger, Asian Lion, Elephant, and various endangered species like civets.
The Night Safari is not just a zoo; it also serves as a conservation center for endangered wildlife.
