The vermilion torii standing on the lake is an iconic symbol of Hakone, making it easy to capture postcard-worthy photos. If the weather is clear, the outline of Mt. Enjoying Hakone with the Lake Ashi Pirate Ship and Hakone Ropeway

On Lake Ashi, you can enjoy the lakeside scenery of Hakone by taking a pirate ship cruise. The mountain range and lakeside scenery viewed from the water feel more three-dimensional than when viewed from land. During the cruise, there's a chance to capture the Peace Torii and, on clear days, even Mt. Fuji in the same frame along with the lake scenery.
