BESTI am writing this while on a local tour of Mt. Aso. My clothes got completely soaked from the heat when I went to Kumamoto Castle this morning, but now that I have arrived at Mt. Aso, it is raining and cold. We packed our own lunches and ate them separately at Hakata Station. Two guides are accompanying us, and they speak four languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. Haha.

Discover a comprehensive tour that takes you from Kumamoto Castle to the Kusasenri plains of Mt. Aso. This tour has a minimum departure of just 1 person, so you don't have to worry about cancellations due to low numbers. Travel with confidence with our experienced Korean-speaking guide. If you're looking to escape the bustling city and immerse yourself in a day of nature and history, this tour is for you!

From Kumamoto Castle
to Mt. Aso's Kusasenri
This tour departs from Hakata Station in Fukuoka or directly from Kumamoto Castle, allowing you to experience the magnificent natural landscapes of Mt. Aso. Meet at 8:00 AM in front of Lawson Oriental Hotel Fukuoka and proceed to Kumamoto Castle for approximately 1.5 hours of free time. During your free time, consider visiting Kumamon Square, the local mascot, for a fun experience! Afterwards, the tour continues to Mt. Aso and Kusasenri, with about 1.5 to 2 hours allocated for exploration. Get up close to the active volcano of Mt. Aso and experience the wonders of nature firsthand!
You can then return to Kumamoto Station via the Aso Boy train or head back to Hakata Station in Fukuoka by tour bus to conclude the tour. The Aso Boy train, featuring the beloved mascot Kuro, is a perfect way to create special memories for children.
