Museum Floor Guide

1F 
Main entrance for visitors using Dazaifu Station. 
The entrance hall includes a general information desk, museum hall, and open cafe.

2F
- Museum Hall : 
Hosts various events such as lectures and concerts.

- Ajipa : 
An interactive exhibition room where you can enjoy the cultures of countries that have had exchanges with Japan through your five senses.

3F
Special Exhibition Room : 
A wooden-toned exhibition room with an area of approximately 1,500㎡ and a ceiling height of 7m. It consists of three exhibition rooms (large, medium, and small) and features exhibitions with changing themes.

4F
Cultural Exchange Exhibition Room :
Exhibits works on the history of cultural exchange between Japan and Asia, divided into five themes from the Paleolithic era to the end of the early modern period (opening of the country).
You can always enjoy fresh exhibitions through exhibition changes that are carried out in some exhibition cases almost every week.

If you've seen all the various exhibitions, you can't miss the experiences! The free interactive exhibition room 'Ajipa' on the 1st floor, meaning 'Asian Field', allows you to experience the cultures of Asian and European countries that have had exchanges with Japan through your five senses. Now, let's explain the various experience facilities.

1. Asian
- A space exhibiting the most noteworthy works in Ajipa.

2. Ajigyara
- Exhibits are held with various themes depending on the season. You can also experience being a curator or archaeologist.

3. Tanada
- You can listen to the sounds and music heard on the streets of various countries or see how things are made.
