BESTFor my trip with my parents, I paid 3 Singapore dollars locally for the senior's ticket, while booking tickets for the rest of the group in advance through WAG. I was able to purchase and use the tickets on the same day. We entered after exchanging the voucher for a physical ticket (QR receipt) at the Orchid Garden ticket office. Since it gets very hot to explore the Orchid Garden, I recommend bringing sunscreen, a parasol, a hat, sunglasses, and a hand fan. There is also a cool indoor area called THE SEMBCORP COOL HOUSE, so if it gets too hot, you can take refuge there and take your time exploring. Otherwise, you will melt from the heat and humidity.

Within Singapore Botanic Gardens lies a special space accessible with a separate ticket: the National Orchid Garden. Wander through beautifully manicured paths and explore vast dome-shaped conservatories to discover Singapore's most spectacular orchids.
The National Orchid Garden boasts over 60,000 beautiful blooms, including more than 1,500 species of original orchids and over 3,000 hybrid varieties. Its immense scale and grandeur make it a highly recommended healing spot in Singapore, perfect for a leisurely stroll to fully immerse yourself in the charm of a tropical garden.

The Hidden Gem within the Botanic Gardens:
National Orchid Garden
Singapore Botanic Gardens is a beloved free-access healing spot, but the National Orchid Garden, a special hidden space within it, is a premium garden requiring a separate entrance ticket. Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Botanic Gardens, this is a world-class orchid garden where you can encounter over 60,000 flowers and plants, including more than 1,500 species of native orchids and over 3,000 hybrid orchids. With beautifully landscaped walking paths, vast dome-shaped exhibition spaces, and themed zones filled with colorful flowers, it's considered a must-visit healing destination in Singapore.
Why Visit?

For those who feel it's a shame to leave after only seeing Gardens by the Bay, the National Orchid Garden is a highly recommended spot. In fact, many Singaporean locals prefer this tranquil and nature-friendly atmosphere, making it a relaxed and peaceful space. Its charm lies in leisurely strolls amidst nature, appreciating flowers and plants, rather than extravagant displays, making it a beloved healing spot in Singapore that simply walking through lifts your spirits.
Especially in the 'Tropical Montane Orchidetum,' which recreates the atmosphere of a high-altitude tropical forest, you can experience the ambiance of mountainous regions and admire various tropical plants like rare orchids and bromeliads, as well as ginger plants. Each exhibition hall has been significantly expanded, offering a more majestic and immersive garden experience.
A Lush Green Oasis

The National Orchid Garden is one of Singapore's premier green healing spaces. Singapore is known for its deep affection for orchids, with one of its national flowers being a type of orchid. You can enjoy discovering beautiful hybrid orchids, born from world-class orchid cultivation and hybridization techniques, throughout the garden.
Furthermore, in the 'Sembcorp Cool House,' which recreates a cool highland climate, you can admire rare orchids like boat orchids and slipper orchids, as well as carnivorous plants and begonias with shimmering leaves. With various themed areas like the misty 'Tan Hoon Siang Mist House' and the tropical rainforest-themed 'Bromeliad Collection,' you'll feel as if you're exploring a lush rainforest.
