It's good that WAUG is a little cheaper than other sites and it sends the reservation confirmation barcode right away ^^ But, I couldn't confirm that the barcode was passed to the right for two reservations, so I only saw one, so I communicated with the staff for about 20 minutes, checked it at the office, and eventually took one picture and went in. An episode has been created~ Rather than spending time taking pictures with Queen Doo, enjoy the coast of Yehliu all over the place~ I recommend~ If you really want to take a picture of Queen Doo, don't pretend to take a picture, go to the back and take a picture! ^^

It was good to use it with a tour package. I paid for the tour package in advance on Naver, but it would have been difficult if I had come separately. It was good to go to Yeliu, Shifen, Shifen Waterfall, Jinguashi, and Jiufen all in one day. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. You walk more than you think~ If it rains, the people selling raincoats at Yeliu sell good quality raincoats for 100 Taiwan dollars. Shifen is good to eat as a snack with chicken wing fried rice and peanut ice cream, and Jinguashi was good with miner's lunch box~ Jiufen had a good atmosphere and many shops^^

Located on the northern coast of Taipei, Yehliu Geopark is famous for its bizarre rock formations facing the sea. It's a unique destination where you can witness geological wonders and bizarre rocks shaped by weathering, stretching over 1.7km.
Don't miss the 'Queen's Head' rock, resembling the bust of ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, and the Candle Rock, a rock layer shaped like a candle on a candlestick through marine erosion. There's also a rest area at the tip of the cape where you can relax while facing the sea, so be sure to visit!

Visit Yehliu Geopark, where the unique landscape is spectacular, and discover geological and bizarre rock formations created by the effects of weathering. The bizarre rocks of Yehliu Geopark are one of the world's most amazing landscapes.
The direction in which the coastline stretches is almost perpendicular to the strata and structural lines, and the effects of geological processes such as wave erosion, rock weathering, relative sea-land movement, and crustal movement have created this rare topography and geological landscape.
Here's how to get to Yehliu Geopark
Yehliu Geopark is a bit far from downtown Taipei. So you have to take an intercity bus to get there. But if you follow these instructions, you can get there very easily. Shall we find out how to get there?
1. Go to Taipei Main Station M2 Exit
2. Arrive at the Kuo-Kuang Bus Terminal and buy a ticket
3. Take Kuo-Kuang Bus No. 1815 (marked as Jinshan -> Yehliu)
4. Arrive after about 1 hour and 10 minutes on the 1815 Kuo-Kuang Bus
It's easier than you think. Anyone can easily go to see Yehliu Geopark.
Introducing the Yehliu Geopark Zones
Yehliu Geopark is divided into 3 zones. The 'Queen's Head Rock', which resembles the head of a queen, is the most popular of the various bizarre rocks and is located in Zone 2. Let me introduce you to the rocks you can see in each zone.
Zone 1:
An area with a high concentration of mushroom rocks and ginger rocks, where you can see the famous photo spots of Yehliu Geopark, Candle Rock and Ice Cream Rock.
Zone 2:
You can see the 'Queen's Head Rock' and Elephant Rock, the biggest star (?) of Yehliu Geopark. It is said that the erosion rate of the current Queen's Head Rock is accelerating and may disappear within a few hundred years.
Zone 3:
If you go to the top of Zone 3 of Yehliu Geopark, you can see 'Tofu Rock' on the left.

If you've looked around Yehliu Geopark, we recommend visiting the traditional market next to the ticket office. Here you can find dried seafood served with various seasonings. In particular, there are many small snacks, so there is plenty of delicious food to fill your stomach after seeing Yehliu Geopark.
