First course of my trip to Taiwan!!! Because it was a weekday, the line wasn't huge, but it was really nice to be able to go straight up without waiting!! It seems to be essential on weekends when there is a lot of waiting, and when I made a reservation, I was told that I could enter right away without a ticket, but first, I received a paper ticket and an information pamphlet at the counter online reservation window (we also received a calendar because it was the end of the year), and if I followed the instructions, I boarded the elevator right away!!! When you come down, show the blue ticket that looks like a pamphlet to the information staff in line and get on the elevator right away!!! I was really lost trying to find a gift shop, but if you show it to the staff selling snacks right in front of the Din Tai Fung store on the basement level, they will give it to you right away. Please note that everyone in your group can only receive the same item. Other places sell tickets by entry time, but WAG has a set time. I'm a little skeptical, but don't worry, you'll be issued a ticket according to your arrival time.

Highlights

Taiwan's popular travel destination 101 Tower Observation Deck,
Enter right away without waiting in line!

Taipei 101 Building Observation Deck, boasting a height of 509m, is a landmark representing Taiwan in name and reality. As the name 101 Tower suggests, it has a total of 101 floors, and the observatory is divided into an indoor observatory on the 88th and 89th floors, and an outdoor observatory on the 91st floor.

The 89th floor is an indoor observatory where you can see the panoramic view of Taipei through a glass wall, and the 91st floor is an outdoor observatory where you can see a panoramic view of Taipei without a glass wall. However, entry to the 91st floor observatory may be restricted depending on the weather, so check on site before going up.

This ticket is a fast track ticket and allows you to enter the 101 Tower observatory without waiting in line.

Program

I don't know about other places,
You have to go here!

Taipei 101 Observatory is a must-see for anyone visiting Taipei. Taipei 101, the tallest building in Taipei, stands at a whopping 382 meters tall. It is always considered a must-see tourist attraction in Taiwan. The observatory on the 89th floor offers a 360-degree view of downtown Taipei, and you can also visit the outdoor observatory on the 91st floor.

I'll tell you how to get there.

Taipei 101 is easily accessible via the Taiwan MRT. Take the MRT to Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station and take Exit 4, which is connected to the Taipei 101 underground food court. Take the stairs or escalator out of Exit 4 and you will see the Taipei 101 entrance near the LOVE sculpture.

Elevator listed in Guinness Book of Records

How fast does an elevator have to be to be listed in the Guinness Book of World Records? The elevator in Taipei 101 tower goes from the 5th floor to the 89th floor observation deck in just 37 seconds. That’s why it’s listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s fastest elevator. One of the fun things about it is riding it yourself to see how fast it really is.

The secret of Taipei 101 tower is damper

If you go up to Taipei 101, you can see the golden weight damper. This is the damper that keeps the Taipei 101 tower from collapsing. Located between the 88th and 92nd floors, the damper is a 6m diameter, 600t weight weight that keeps the building from collapsing even in earthquakes or typhoons.

You can see it in person, so I recommend you don't miss it.

Introducing the best photo zone

The best photo zones at the Taipei 101 observatory are the four corner zones. The corner zones are the prettiest. There are photo zones that require you to take pictures, like the one in the photo above, but even in places where there are no photo zones, the corners are always popular.

Meet the fantastic night view

When is the best time to visit? According to Wag’s data, 6pm is the most popular time. This is the time when you can see the sunset and night view at the same time, so many people visit the Taipei 101 Tower Observatory at this time. The view of downtown Taipei from here is truly fantastic. I highly recommend seeing both the sunset and night view at the same time.

I recommend some good restaurants nearby.

Taipei 101 Tower's basement level to the 5th floor above ground is occupied by restaurants and shopping malls. So I recommend eating before going up to the 5th floor, which is the entrance to the observatory. The most popular restaurant among them is Din Tai Fung on the basement level. You can taste various dishes such as dim sum, beef noodles, and fried rice, so I recommend stopping by if you go to the observatory for lunch or dinner.
