Overall I thought the excursion was quite good. I loved the crocodile part and the jungle. However, more than half the time was spent on the bus. So quite a lot of bus time.

Leider hatten wir sehr, sehr, sehr viel Nebel. Uns war nicht bewusst, das dort die Fahrgeschäfte in dem Berg sind. Alles hat uns etwas an Disney World erinnert, nur in klein halt. Unser Guide war nett und kompetent.

We joined that tour in a small group with tourguide Jack whilo we can highly recommend. During the drive in a small bus he gave us lots of interesting information about Vietnam, Saigon and the culture and so on. Very interesting to listen to. You don't get to taste the bird nest soup due to Covid-pandemic reasons but another interesting drink with bird nest to try. We saw monkeys, crocodiles..and had a nice boat tour through mangrove forest. We were happy with the day tour package.

Quite a far journey from ho.chi mihn. You cross on a ferry to get to the park. Mixed feels about the trip as I feel the experience could be made better. That said it was nice to see a different part of the country. Feeding the crocodiles you got a proper sense of their power and hunting skills.

Head to Vam Sat Eco Park
in the Can Gio mangroves

This day tour explores Vam Sat Eco Park in the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO-listed site. After pickup from your District 1 accommodation, travel by air-conditioned vehicle and join an English-speaking guide on a boat to the bat sanctuary and crocodile swamp. The boat tour, entrance fees, and a Vietnamese lunch are included.

Take a jungle speedboat to the bat sanctuary

At the eco park, board a boat and cruise along a river lined with mangrove forest to the bat sanctuary. Along the way, see the different ways locals catch fish and crabs.

Watch crocodile feeding at the swamp

At the crocodile swamp, learn how crocodile eggs are incubated and see baby crocodiles up close. Sit on the boat and watch the crocodiles leap out of the water as your guide throws food.

Climb Tang Bong Tower for forest views

Climb the 26-meter Tang Bong Tower in the swamp for a panoramic view over the whole mangrove forest and take photos.

After sightseeing, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant along with a taste of bird's nest soup. After lunch, return to Ho Chi Minh City by vehicle and get dropped off at your accommodation.
