This approximately 9-hour tour picks you up from your accommodation in Yogyakarta for a Merapi jeep tour followed by Elo River rafting. An English-speaking driver and guide accompany you, and you can choose between the regular tour, the Merapi sunrise tour and a private tour depending on the option.

Drive across the Merapi volcanic area by 4WD jeep

On the slopes of Mount Merapi, hop into a 4WD jeep for an off-road adventure across the volcanic landscape. Visit Alien Stone, Kaliadem Bunker and a mini museum, enjoy views of one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia and learn about the 2010 eruption.

Raft 12 km of whitewater on the Elo River

After the jeep tour, drive about 1.5 hours to the Elo River in Magelang. After a safety briefing, put on your rafting gear and paddle through Class II–III rapids for about 12 km, passing beautiful countryside. The course suits both beginners and experienced rafters.

Rest after rafting and return to your hotel

After rafting, take a lunch break and relax (meals are not included). Your driver then takes you back to your hotel or accommodation in Yogyakarta.
