and see the light beams of Jomblang Cave

This is an approximately 4-hour tour that picks you up from your accommodation in Yogyakarta to explore Jomblang Cave. You rappel down to the cave floor, pass through a muddy tunnel and see the light pouring through the cave ceiling with your own eyes. Rappelling equipment, a guide, lunch and drinking water are included.

Meet in your hotel lobby and drive to the cave

In the morning, meet your driver in the lobby of your accommodation in Yogyakarta and set off by car. The drive to Jomblang Cave takes about 2 hours, and you can enjoy the scenery of Java along the way.

Rappel 59 m down to the cave floor

When you arrive at the cave, put on the rappelling equipment and descend about 59 m to the bottom of the cave. Once at the bottom, walk about 270 m along a slippery, muddy tunnel to the spot where the light comes in.

Admire the beams of light from the cave ceiling

Sunlight streams through the hole in the cave ceiling, creating beams of light that look as if angels are about to descend. After the exploration, you can optionally visit nearby attractions such as Pindul Cave or Timang Beach (at extra cost) before returning to your accommodation.
