Yogyakarta Jomblang Cave Vertical Descent Tour - Ticket & Lunch

and descend into Jomblang Cave

This approximately 7-hour tour picks you up from your accommodation in Yogyakarta to explore Jomblang Cave. Descend the 60 m vertical cave by pulley, walk through the cave and admire the sunlight streaming from the ceiling. The cave entrance ticket, safety equipment such as a harness, helmet and boots, and lunch are included.

Depart in the morning and get a queue number at the cave

Be ready by 7:00 AM to depart from the agreed pickup point and travel for about 2 hours. At Jomblang Cave, register and receive a queue number; the tour starts at 9:30 AM.

Descend the 60 m vertical shaft by pulley

At the cave entrance, put on the safety equipment provided by the organizer, including a body harness, boots and helmet. When your queue number is called, descend together into the cave with the manual pulley system, which requires good teamwork.

Walk through the cave and see the Light of Heaven

At the bottom, a guide leads you through the very muddy, slippery cave to Grubug Cave, where sunlight pours in. After about 2 hours, return to the entrance and climb back up, wash off, enjoy lunch prepared by the organizer and return to your accommodation.
