Your first stop is the Gayer-Anderson Museum, made up of two houses built in 17th-century style. Spend about 30 minutes viewing beautiful furniture, Islamic art and rare objects collected by a British officer in the 1930s.

of the Ibn Tulun Mosque

Next, spend about 1 hour at the Ibn Tulun Mosque, which has more than 1,000 years of history. Walk through the vast courtyard surrounded by elegant arches and climb the famous spiral minaret for views over Cairo.

Tour the Manial Palace and
have lunch in Khan El Khalili

Finally, spend about 1 hour at the Manial Palace (Prince Mohamed Ali Palace), viewing rooms decorated with gold, marble and European art, and stroll through gardens blending Ottoman and European styles. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Khan El Khalili.
