From Cairo: Bahariya, Black & White Desert and Crystal Mountain 2-Day Camping Tour

Leave Cairo for a 2-day trip to
the Bahariya Oasis and the desert

You will be picked up early in the morning from your accommodation in Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle. After about 4 hours and 150 miles (about 240 km), you arrive at the Bahariya Oasis, switch to a 4x4 off-road jeep and begin your desert adventure.

Pass the Black Desert, El Heiz village and Crystal Mountain

First explore the Black Desert, then visit El Heiz village to relax at its cool spring and enjoy a traditional lunch. Continue past Crystal Mountain and the Agabat area to take in the unique desert scenery.

Camp under the stars in the Old and New White Desert

The highlight is the Old White Desert, with formations shaped like mushrooms and tents. Then explore the striking limestone landscape of the New White Desert before spending the night at a desert camp. Enjoy a barbecue dinner and time for stargazing in the evening.

Watch the desert sunrise and return to Cairo

On day 2, wake up to the sunrise and have breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, ride the jeep back to the oasis, stop at a hot spring to relax, and then return to Cairo. The hot spring visit must be requested one day before the tour.
