Cairo: Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum Egyptologist Tour

Explore the Pyramids of Giza
with an Egyptologist guide

After pickup from your hotel or a designated place in Cairo or Giza, meet your local Egyptologist guide, who stays with you all day to share knowledge and help you along the way.

The tour begins at the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Spend about 3 hours exploring the Pyramids of Khufu, Menkaure and Khafre, taking photos and walking around. If you select the Great Pyramid interior option, you enter the Great Pyramid before visiting the Valley Temple.

Take photos in front of
the Great Sphinx

Next, head to the Great Sphinx for about 1 hour of guided explanations and photos. Then take a break of about 1 hour in Giza for lunch. Lunch is included or available at extra cost depending on the option.

See the Tutankhamun collection
at the Grand Egyptian Museum

Then move to the Grand Egyptian Museum, about 2 km from the pyramids area, for about 3 hours. The museum houses more than 100,000 artifacts spanning eras of Egyptian civilization from the Predynastic to the Coptic period, and displays the collection of King Tutankhamun, consisting of 5,398 pieces.

To finish, stop at a local bazaar where you can shop freely and bargain directly with the merchants. After the tour, you return to Giza for drop-off.
