Step inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu

Your entry ticket to the Pyramid of Khufu is included, so you can go inside without waiting in the ticket line. The Great Pyramid is the largest pyramid in Egypt and the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu of the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom. Built over about 27 years around 2600 BC, it is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one that remains largely intact.

It was built from about 2.3 million stones weighing some 6 million tons in total. Most came from local limestone on the Giza Plateau, while white Tura limestone for the casing and Aswan granite blocks of up to 80 tons for the King's Chamber were shipped along the Nile. It is also the most famous monument of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Memphis and its Necropolis."

Take photos at the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx

Visit the Valley Temple, where priests mummified the body of King Khafre, and see the Great Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre, up close. Your guide will help you take photos in a variety of fun poses with the Sphinx. At the end of the tour, return to your accommodation by vehicle.
