Board the Ngong Ping 360 cable car with priority
and head to Lantau Island

Depart from a downtown pickup point or your Kowloon hotel (hotel pickup options) and ride an air-conditioned coach for about 45 minutes to Tung Chung. Skip the line to board the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, and for about 30 minutes look out over Lantau's mountains and sea and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the distance.

Take a private coach to Tai O fishing village

A private coach takes you from Ngong Ping to Tai O, saving about 45 minutes of waiting. Spend about an hour with your guide exploring Tai O, a fishing village where Hong Kong's fishing traditions live on.

A dolphin-watching boat ride around the stilt houses is available as an option at extra cost (about 20 minutes). If you're lucky, you may spot Chinese white dolphins (pink dolphins).

Visit Po Lin Monastery and the Big Buddha

Back in Ngong Ping, tour Po Lin Monastery and the Big Buddha (Tian Tan Buddha), a pilgrimage site set against the mountains, with your guide. With a lunch option, enjoy a vegetarian lunch at Po Lin Monastery for about an hour.

Then stroll through Ngong Ping Village and visit Oriental Heritage, an immersive experience themed on Chinese culture and the Five Elements.

Ride the cable car down and return downtown

Take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car back down to Tung Chung, then ride the coach for about 45 minutes to finish at Holiday Inn Golden Mile (50 Nathan Rd) in Tsim Sha Tsui, close to K11 Art Mall, the MTR station and a taxi stand.
