The Hong Kong Palace Museum stands on the waterfront of the West Kowloon Cultural District. It displays more than 900 precious treasures from the Palace Museum in Beijing, many of which are shown in Hong Kong for the first time. Some pieces have never been displayed to the public before.

Explore the exhibitions in Galleries 1 to 7

The general admission ticket gives access to Galleries 1 to 7. In Gallery 7, enjoy "The Ways in Patterns", an immersive digital exhibition on the patterns of the Palace Museum. The museum also regularly holds special exhibitions on Chinese art and culture as well as art and treasures from other parts of the world.

Special exhibition options let you see Galleries 1 to 7 together with the special exhibition gallery. The Gallery 8 special exhibition "Treasures of Global Jewellery from The Metropolitan Museum of Art: The Body Transformed" runs until 19 October 2026. M+ combo options also include a full access ticket to all galleries of the neighbouring M+ museum.
